Bungay Town Council holds a number of meetings each month at which the public are most welcome.  These include Full Council Meetings and Main Committees which are held on a Thursday.  Papers for these meetings are published 5 working days before the meeting.

Planning, Environment and Highways Committee meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month.

Grounds, Properties and Amenities Committee meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month.

Full Council meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month.

Governance, Legal and Finance Committee meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month.

There are also Advisory Panels, Working Parties and Sub-Committees, which are held as the need arises.

WE WELCOME PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN OUR ADVERTISED MEETINGS (FULL COUNCIL AND MAIN COMMITTEES).  Please note, however, that public participation is limited to the 'Public Forum' (generally item 3 on the agenda).  All agendas state the following regarding the 'Public Forum', "Members of the public are invited to give their views on issues on this agenda, or raise issues for future consideration, at the discretion of the Chairman, for no more than 15 minutes.  Members of the public may not take part in the Committee meeting itself."

Currently, Full Council meetings and committee meetings are held at the Council's Staithe Riverside Centre, located by the river and just off Staithe Road.  The Riverside Centre has disabled access.
