Live Well postcard

Bungay Live Well is a partnership between East Suffolk Council, Bungay Town Council and Halesworth Volunteer Centre and aims to offer and promote opportunities for people of all ages to make a real difference in their local community. This includes, reducing social isolation and loneliness and keeping people active whilst improving the quality of life for themselves and others. Part of this work has seen the introduction of a database (both online and as hard copies) of local community groups, clubs and organisations which local residents can access and find out how they, or people they know, can become involved to help reduce social isolation and improve people’s health and well-being.

Bungay Live Well also hopes to assist with promoting all the volunteering opportunities there are in the area and help to develop sustainability amongst local community groups, clubs and organisations by offering networking events to showcase the fantastic work which is already taking place and encourage closer partnership working where possible.

The Bungay Live Well database of local information, which will be updated from time to time when new information becomes available, can be accessed by clicking on the link below. There are also hard copies of the same document available from the Bungay Town Council office and eventually other locations across the town.

If you would like your community group, club or organisation to be included as part of the Bungay Live Well database, and receive details of future networking events and initiatives, please complete the ‘Contact Information Form’ (see below) and return by either email to bungay@halesworthvc.co.uk  or post/hand to  Bungay Town Council, 1a Broad Street, Bungay, Suffolk NR35 1EE.
